We spent the Jubilee weekend at White Park Bay Youth Hostel. It’s a beautiful setting perched above a stunning, secluded beach. If you’re around the North Coast of Northern Ireland you should definitely stop by this one and if you have a camera, there’s great opportunities for some lovely landscape or seascape photos.
Unfortunately the light wasn’t great for a beautiful sunset so I experimented with a few new longer exposure techniques and explored the interest that the beach had to offer.

Earlier this year I submitted a panel of Landscape Photographs from across Northern Ireland as well as a couple from the Republic of Ireland.

The faces of older men are always fascinating, they always reveal plenty of life experience, along with stories to share.
On a recent trip to Colombia, we got to spend time with a number of families, unfortunately a lot of the dads weren’t around, either they had moved to find work or had been killed in the drugs war. However a number of the families had older men and I had the pleasure of capturing their portraits.
