Bluebells at Portglenone Forest, County Antrim

At the start of May I returned to Portglenone forest to capture the Bluebells in bloom, I have not visited anywhere else in Northern Ireland that has such a fine display of Bluebells.

The following shots were all taken between 2000 and 2100 that night..

If your around the area at the start of next May I recommend you take a dander amongst the Bluebells…

Even worth waiting til nightfall to see the sun set over the Bann and see the start of Twilight…

Lent.. Today is the start of lent, which ends with an empty cross and tomb. Does anyone practice anything differently over the next 40 days? Interested to explore this practice. What do you do and why? Please share your thoughts below or send me a PM.
